Welcome!

Some visitors are coming soon.  Welcome, new friends!  It's cold outside, so come on over and we can sit by the fire and chat awhile. If you time it right, I'll have some tea and scones ready for you.  Honeybush and apricot ginger, to be exact.  (And just for the record, I generally don't prefer apricots or ginger, but these scones are amazing!)

Hopefully you will land here and find a bit of inspiration, some laughs, some joy, and a smile.  I'm on a journey to find the extraordinary amidst the everyday, ordinary stuff of life, and I'd love to have you join me.

  10. Hi Nancy, I live just one more ferry up from the Skookumchuk Narrows. In fact there is a lovely bakery here called Nancy's Bakery. I drink copious amounts of tea and eat scones at every opportunity. Being a merry maker sounds like a good plan. I have a plan for this year too. I would appreciate your opinion. Sue

  18. My daughter has chickens and the children were delighted with their first eggs too! My younger daughter is a therapist in a hospital and has similar experiences that you described. It takes a special person to withstand the emotional roller coaster of hospital life. Loved reading your blog.

Will be back soon. The Blog Party is so much fun.
