Homemade Pizza

It was a rare evening when I was inspired to make dinner.  Those who know me well will be nodding wholeheartedly at the operative word, "rare".  Cooking is NOT my thing!  But this night was worth the effort.  Oh, it was fabulous!

Directions:

1. Pick a crust, any crust.  I tried a new rye and whole wheat concoction, which was interesting.
2. Spread with pesto sauce.
3. Throw on a combination of chopped zucchini, goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, and          caramelized onions.  A sprinkling of mozzarella cheese on the top holds everything together.
4. Bake @450° on a baking stone for about 18 minutes.


The "after"picture would have been a dream shot, but the lighting was off and we were starved.  No time for the finer points of photography.  You'll have to trust me that it looked, smelled and tasted delicious!!

  1. Looks delicious! I'm going to look for that crust. I love making pizzas with all my leftover veggies and cheese, and fruit is great on there too!

  3. I'm going to try this concoction for pizza but I've got to find a good crust recipe that's healthy.
