A New Generation Launched

Graduation was marked with the usual pomp and circumstance, with tassels and cords and regalia and music and enough formality to bring tears to my eyes.

What a thrill to see our youngest finish college!  We are so thankful for the woman she has become - she has truly been a gift to us, bringing us joy beyond measure. But we are now done raising her, and the ceremony officially marked it.  As parents we will be here to cheer and love all of our kids - our own and those we "borrowed" - but they are launched and headed out into the world.

Where have the years gone?

And what in the world are we supposed to DO now??!

  1. All the best to her. My oldest has finished his 2nd year of college. Gosh, where did the time go? My youngest graduates high school next year. Will be very strange when he leaves us to make his own way in the world. Best wishes, Tammy
